Starring Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster
Length 132 Min
A 20th Century Fox Film
Based on the bestselling novel by James Dashner
After Thomas and his friends have escaped the maze, they are rescued by a mysterious group that promises to keep them safe and bring them home. Soon Thomas realizes that they may not be telling the whole truth, and the Gladders are on the run again. They must travel through the Scorch, a desolate deserted desert filled with storms, heat and creatures called 'Crankers'. Thomas is determined to get his friends back to safety but he underestimated his obstacles, and his past may get in the way of his future.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials begins and it is slightly following the book, then it pretty much just takes the characters from the book and puts them in a different story line. That being said I really liked it, if you don't judge it based on the book and just think of it as a movie continuing the Maze Runner it's pretty good. I liked it so much I saw it twice. Something that I did not expect was how much this film had jump out of your seat parts, it was definitely a thriller.
I would recommend this movie to...
- Fans of the Maze Runner Movie
- Fans of Thrillers
- Fans of Dylan O'Brien and Thomas Brodie-Sangster
