Tris, Four, Caleb, Peter and many other Abnegation and Dauntless continue to hide in the Amity sanctuary after the near extinction of the Abnegation. Jeanine has blamed the attack on the Abnegation on the Divergents of whom she orders everyone to turn in. She has taken control of the city and enforced martial law on the people of it. Soon the Dauntless still loyal to her find what she wants, a box hidden under the floor of the Prior house, this box can only be opened by a Divergent and she believes that inside is a message from the founders. Tris will stop and nothing to kill Jeanine and neither will Four, what will be inside this box that Jeanine has and who will stand up to her tyranny? Find out in Insurgent.

If you are watching Insurgent because you have seen Divergent the movie and you haven't read any books, you probably will think it is pretty good. But if you read Insurgent you will be able to tell the plot was changed a lot. The movie and book started out similar then shifted a part and then sort of pulled itself back to the same at the end. It was a pretty good movie in general but I enjoyed Divergent more. It had a couple funny moments but it was definitely not a comedy.
I give it a 6 out of ten.

I would recommend this movie to you if...
  • You have seen Insurgent
  • Like action and distopian movies
  • Enjoy The Hunger Games movies

Thank you for reading!
