Mike is fifteen and he has lived with his uncle since his mothers death. His uncle, Billy is only ten years older that Mike and he loves to party and not really pay much attention to Mike. Mike starts to make some bad choices and Billy doesn’t notice, but his history teacher, Mr. Reil who is an ex-cop does. Things in Mike's life start to unravel as Mr. Reil notices that Mike knows somethings that the cops who investigated his mother death didn’t and that his mothers death was planned. This is now one of my favorite mystery books for teens. I don’t read much mystery but this one was great. I thought I knew who done it but later everything became foggy again and then, I figured it out all that way at the end.
I would recommend this book to...
- Teens who like mysteries, specifically murder mysteries
- People who would like to start reading mysteries
- Anyone who like Realistic Fiction
- Someone who is looking for a series
I received this book from NetGalley as an Advanced Copy. This book will be published on March 1st 2014 and is available for pre-order here!
Thank you so much for reading!
